The Worlds Edge Mountains and the Badlands - Total War: Warhammer 2

These are In engine shots taken from Total War: Warhammer 2 - Mortal Empires Campaign map.

They include the Worlds Edge Mountains. the greatest range of mountains in the old world and heart of the great dwarf empire of ancient days. Between the Worlds Edge Mountains and the Black Gulf is the desolate region of barren rock, arid plains and searing desert known as the Badlands. Safe travel in the Badlands is impossible for this region harbours the largest concentration of Greenskin tribes outside of the Darklands.

Tasks in which I contributed included asset creation (mountains, ship models, city peices.etc), terrain textures, prefab decoration (city decoration and general assets), lighting and map decoration.

Zhufbar is built into a deep chasm worn over time from a torrential waterfall that cascades down through its centre. The sound of thousands of grinding water wheels, wheezing bellows and pounding drop hammers echoes off nearby peaks.

The mountains are said to be the main barrier for any race to cross if they are to invade the lands of the west, such as the Old World and Araby. It is also the strongest barrier for the Greenskins of the Dark Lands and beyond from invading the Empire.

Without any proper leadership, the tribes of the Badlands are scattered and divided, and until the time comes when a Warlord of great strength and cunning can unite them, the Badlands will only be a region of constant and bloody warfare.
